Finding a supportive group of fellow caregivers can be a vital link in helping you cope with the responsibilities and challenges of caring for a loved one. Senior Friendship Centers caregiver support groups meet at the following times and locations. Please call in advance for additional information.

Alzheimer's Caregivers (in conjunction with the Alzheimer's Association) Thursdays, Carkener Terrace, Rubin Center for Healthy Aging, 10-11:30am.

The Caregiver Resource Center at the Brother William Geenen Living Room in Sarasota. is a community resource center open to all Sarasota County caregivers without charge. Educational programs, compassionate support, and access to a wealth of information of special interest to anyone caring for a loved one are available at this "one-stop resource" center for caregivers. New Macintosh computers provide easy access to online assistance and a staff of caring, experienced volunteers on hand to provide assistance from 9 am to 2 pm Monday through Friday.
