Senior Friendship Centers, Inc. was established in 1973. This not-for-profit organization is dedicated to helping older adults live with dignity and independence throughout Southwest Florida - Sarasota, Desoto, Charlotte, Lee and Collier counties.

Nearly 1,500 volunteers within Senior Friendship Centers

we dedicate ourselves to helping older adults live with dignity and respect by providing services that address their needs, including:

institutionalization

-relieving isolation and loneliness

-improving quality of life and
health for seniors

Many of these programs and services are funded in part by State and Federal agencies, and support from private foundations and individual contributions. We could not do all we do without the support of the communities we serve. Please see "Our Partners" in "About Us."

Senior Friendship Centers serves more than 10,000 older adults annually and that number continues to increase as the population of Southwest Florida grows.
